ABOUT ME
I'm a Polonsky Fellow at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute, Israel. I got my PhD in philosophy from Cornell in 2019. My main area of research is in metaphysics, and my current project deals with questions about essence and metaphysical explanation. Before turning into a metaphysician, I worked on ancient philosophy (focusing on theories of explanation in Plato and Aristotle) and modern philosophy (esp. Kant).
